On-airport vs. off-airport at JFK

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is run by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. On-airport parking includes lots by Terminals 4, 5 and 8, a Long-Term Parking Lot near the Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain station, and the reservation-only Federal Circle Station Lot. jfkairport.com also names two authorized off-airport operators. This hub sums up both and links to our deeper guides.

Heads-up: JFK is under major construction, and jfkairport.com notes reduced availability at the Terminal 4 Blue Lot. Prebooking at least 3 hours ahead guarantees a spot and is cheaper. Check jfkairport.com/transportation/airport-parking before you go.

Parking tips

Pay with E-ZPass

jfkairport.com accepts E-ZPass Plus: use the purple E-ZPass lanes and don't pull a ticket. Cards and Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay also work.

Ride the AirTrain

Per jfkairport.com, AirTrain links the terminals, parking, Federal Circle and the Jamaica and Howard Beach stations. Trains run every 5–15 minutes.

Restricted mobility

With a valid state ADA plate or placard, drive-up parking is capped at $35 per 24 hours (not with prebooking or E-ZPass). Enter via a ticket lane.
